How to Become a Christian
When you get to the point that you are seeking God in your life and want to become a Christian,
then you start with a few simple steps:

- Acknowledging that you are a sinner and separated from God. “All have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 - Believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave to pay the price for
our sins. “God demonstrated His own love toward us, that while we were yet sinners, Christ
died for us.” Romans 5:8 - Be willing to turn from your sins (repenting). “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just
and will forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” Romans 1:9 Through
His forgiveness we are washed clean and given a fresh slate to begin our lives anew. - Through prayer, inviting Christ to come into your heart and control your life through the
Holy Spirit. In other words, Receive Him as your Savior. “If you confess with your mouth
that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be
saved.” Romans 10:9
